Could anything be more festive than a nice warming cup of eggnog whilst you seat with your feet up watching a Christmas film with all your Christmas presents – already wrapped – around you?


While there is some debate over the origins of eggnog, and its name, most culinary historians agree that it began in Britain with an early medieval drink called posset, which was made with hot milk and curdled with wine or ale and flavoured with spices.


Traditionally made with eggs and milk, it’s a recipe that often leaves our vegan friends feeling left out but this Vegan Eggnog recipe made with our Pea Protein Chai Spices Flavour can be enjoyed by all. All that and each serving provides 14g of protein, making it a perfectly acceptable post-workout treat.


Vegan Eggnog Ingredients


1 scoop Pea Protein Chai Spices Flavour


4 pcs medjool dates


3tbsp full fat coconut milk/cream


400 ml almond milk


½ tsp vanilla bean paste


½ tsp ground nutmeg


a pinch of saffron thread



    Vegan Eggnog Method


  1. Add all of the ingredients to your high-speed blender and process until smooth and creamy.

  2. Serve immediately and add a pinch of ground nutmeg on top.
