Valentine's Day might not be everyone's favourite "holiday" but, if you ask us, it is the perfect excuse to make super delicious food - for your partner, for your friends...for you!
These Valentine's Protein Hearts not only look super cute and tasty, they also deliver 7g protein per serving, perfect for that post-workout recovery - the heart is a muscle after all!
Protein Hearts Ingredients
2 scoop Whey Protein Isolate
100g cacao butter
2 tsp natural sweetener
For the toppings:
½ tsp cashew butter
½ tsp sprouted buckwheat or chopped nuts
¼ tsp beetroot powder
Protein Hearts Method
1. Place the toppings in the bottom of a heart-shaped silicone mould, such as a heart ice cube tray.
2. Melt the cacao butter carefully in the microwave, gently add the protein powder and mix together until nice and creamy.
3. Slowly pour the white chocolate into the moulds over the toppings.
4. Refrigerate and when set, remove from moulds.
