Chai Latte Ingredients
Nothing says winter warmer quite like a chai latte!
Here at Nutristrength, we love making the most of the seasons and have been working on a limited-edition festive flavour protein powder for quite some time. After a lot of trials and taste testing, we’ve refined our latest formula – Pea Protein Chai Spices Flavour. With warm spiced aromas, it smells like Christmas from the moment you open the tub.
The first thing we has to do once we had this tasty new flavour was to experiment with recipes and what better to start with than a protein chai latte?!
Available in a limited edition run of 500g tubs for the Christmas period you’ll have to make sure you get yours quick – they won’t be around for long!
Makes 2 servings
Chai Latte Ingredients
1 scoop Pea Protein Chai Spices Flavour
200 g cooked pumpkin
500 ml coconut milk
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp pumpkin spice (1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp ground cloves, 1/2 tsp vanilla bean powder, 1/2 tsp cinnamon)
Chai Latte Method
- In a small sauce pan, heat the coconut milk. Don't bring it to boil.
- Pour coconut milk into a bowl, add all the remaining ingredients and blend it together, with a hand held blender until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into 2 mugs.
- If you would like froth, use a small electric frother to froth some more coconut milk and pour it on the top of your latte.
- Enjoy!
