You may have tried making nice cream but what about with a magic shell topping?! This tasty recipe is perfect for the sunny season that is just on the horizon. Made with Nutristrength protein, each serving also delivers 7.1g protein.
Give it a go as a sweet post-run treat!
Magic Shell Nice Cream Ingredients
Magic shell – Version 1
1 tbsp chocolate chips of choice
1tsp Nutristrength Coconut oil
Magic shell – Version 2
1tsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 1/2tsp maple syrup
Melt together!
Protein Nice cream
1 scoop of Ecuadorian Banana Whey protein or Classic Vanilla Pea Protein (for vegan option)
1 medium frozen banana
120g frozen cauliflower
1tsp of your favourite nut butter
1 big handful of ice
1 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice to taste
100ml plant milk
Magic Shell Nice Cream Method
- To make the nice cream, blend the nice cream ingredients together in high powered blender until smooth, using tamper or stopping the machine to scrape down sides.
- Transfer nice cream to a jar and quickly pour the chocolate mixture over the top. If it’s cold enough it will turn into a magic shell!
