Mug Cake Ingredients

1tbsp Pea Protein Chai Spices Flavour

3tbsp almond flour

1tbsp coconut flour

1tsp baking powder

1/2tsp cinnamon

1 large egg

3tbsp almond milk

1tsp butter/coconut

1tsp natural sweetener

Cinnamon swirl

1tbsp butter

1tsp cinnamon

1tsp natural sweetener

Icing

1 tsp coconut cream

1tsp maple syrup

Mug Cake Method

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, add all the cake ingredients. Mix batter until smooth.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the glaze ingredients. Use about half the glaze mixture and drop it onto your batter. Then take a knife or toothpick to swirl the glaze in the mixture.

  3. Pop the cake batter into the microwave for 1 – 1 ½ minutes. Your mixture should rise nicely and pull away from the sides of your mug. Remove from microwave and set aside.

  4. Put your icing mixture into a small bowl and microwave for about 15-20 seconds.

  5. Use a knife to loosen your cake from the sides of your mug or ramekin. Flip onto a plate.

  6. Spread the remaining cinnamon swirl over the top of the cake. Take icing and pour over the cake. Sprinkle with roasted cinnamon nuts. Enjoy!
