Apple Crisp Macchiato ingredients
- 1 scoop Whey Protein Classic Vanilla
- 300ml almond milk
- 1 shot of espresso
Coffee syrup ingredients
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of coconut sugar
- Skin of 2 large apples
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 whole nutmeg cloves
- 1 vanilla pod
How to make an Apple Crisp Macchiato
- Add 150ml milk, coffee and protein powder into your shaker. Shake until well combined
- Heat 150 ml milk in a medium saucepan until warmed through- but do not boil. Use a milk frother to get a nice foam
How to make the coffee syrup
- Bring everything in the pot to a simmer and let it bubble and reduce until syrup is thicker. Strain the syrup
- This syrup can be saved in a jar in your fridge for up to 10 days
- Pour the coffee shake into a large glass add a tablespoon of apple crisp syrup, then pour the frothed milk over top
